Talking F3 Expansion with Bing

Italian Job recently sat down with Bing – Head of Growth for F3 Nation to discuss the Expansion goals and where we currently stand.

IJ: What kind of growth have we seen in 2021?
B: 2021 has started off on fire with growth! In fact, the growth over the last few years has been nothing short of amazing! We ended 2019 with 938 AOs across the Nation. Then we ended 2020 with 2,382. We all know what 2020 brought us, but the men of F3 Nation recognized we have the answer to closed gyms, closed indoor anything…workouts outdoors, rain or shine, hot or cold, Covid or non-Covid.
That’s 1,444 new AOs added in a year that nearly everything else was closed.

IJ: Where does that leave us today?
B: As of today, we have 2,567 free, peer-led workouts across 173 regions! That equates to 185 new AOs in the first three months of 2021.

This is just the beginning. Below are the expansion goals set forth by our new Nation Nant’an, Slaughter.

We have our work cut out for us, but we are also assembling a team of High Impact Men who are experienced in launching regions and have the passion necessary to help men plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership. The Expansion Team consists of Bing, Head of Grow for F3 Nation and former Nant’an/Plant Lead/Mustard Seed Lead for F3 Suncoast.  Most recently, Colonel has taken on the role of XQ of Expansion for F3 Nation, former Nant’an/Plant Lead for F3 Toledo. And many of you know Tool Time, former Nant’an of F3 Gastonia and possibly the most passionate man in F3 Nation. Tool Time will be working closely with the TRUEbadours, the army of men who are going to be working closely with our new region launches, assuring they have all the resources they need to successfully plant and grow.

IJ: With the growth this year, can you tell us about some recent launches?
B: This is dangerous because I hate to miss any because there have been many, but here is a short list that come to mind quickly, or regions that are in pre-launch mode:

3. Island Coast – Fort Myers, FL
4. Anaheim, CA (launching soon)
5. Tri-Cities, IL
6. El Paso, TX (launching in summer)
7. Boise, ID
8. Seattle, WA (dividing off Puget Sound)
9. Garner, NC (dividing off Raleigh)
10. Daytona, FL (launching in April)
11. Columbus, GA (launching soon)
12. Albuquerque, NM (Launching in April)
13. Charles Town, WV (officially launching soon)
14. Oklahoma City, OK (launching in summer)
15. Nairobi, Kenya (launch in process)

Yes, you read that last one correctly. We are in the process of launching in Nairobi, Kenya. We had a gentleman reach out after finding out about us online while researching male community leadership. He was in the process of planting a church and wanted to find ways to invigorate the men of his community. F3 was the perfect fit. They have been meeting, running 5ks, having breakfast and then a masculinity discussion…essentially doing all three Fs routinely. It has been great getting to know these men and they are a great representation of what F3 is all about. Stay tuned for more great news on this launch.

IJ: So F3 Nation is going international?
B: They aren’t the only ones. Our other international launch is gaining steam now that they are able to gather outdoors (and the weather is turning for the better). F3 Dortmund Germany has a solid following of 8-10 men and continues to grow daily.  Be sure to follow them on Instagram to show them our support instagram.com/f3dortmund

IJ: Bringing it back stateside, how many states are currently represented in F3 Nation?
B: Honestly, it is easier to point out what states DON’T have F3 at this point in time.  With our pending launches in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Idaho, we only have a few remaining states void of F3. Montana, Vermont (have some interest), North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa (have a small region just getting established), Massachusetts (lots of interest to help launch Boston), Maine, Hawaii and Alaska.
