Yves Poll

Yves Poll (pronounced "eves pole" in English) is a term for running backwards or backpedaling. He was a French marathon runner who ran backwards all the time. Submitted by SkyHook in Houston, whose father-in-law was an ultramarathoner and one of Yves' running buddies.
