Gamucci-Backblast.01/30/13 – Here We Go Loopty Loo
The virtual shovel flag was planted and 24 pax gathered in the gloom for a mid-week beating.
Partner up – size matters (despite what you hear).
SSH x 25 – enough warm up, let’s get to it.
Partner #1 runs down Jacob’s to the playground for 10 pull-ups, then runs back up to Partner #2.
While he is running, Partner #2 does 20 squats, 20 wide-arms, 20 knee-ups, and 20 diamonds.
Switch it up then repeat 4 times.
Run back down Jacob’s and up to the hill leading from Runnymede to MP.
Bear crawl up.
Continue running to the parking lot past the brick building with graffiti.
Fast loop around the lot, 5 burpees at the hydrant, 5 burpees at the other end, 5 burpees at the hydrant, 5 burpees at the start.
Keep on running towards the tennis courts. Stop at the first speed bump in the long straight away. Partner carries to the far speed bump. Switch at the middle.
Continue on making a left turn towards the stairs to the stadium. 20 merkins at the bottom, bunny hop to the top, run around the loop back to the bottom. And repeat.
Run back to the speed bumps for partner carries. Then back to the parking lot for the burpee loop, back down the hill stopping only to bear crawl down it, finally stopping at the basketball courts with the map of the US.
Circle up for 6MOM
- No name for this one yet, but it sux. Left leg at 90 degrees, right leg at 15, hands behind the head, and up.
- Parker Peters
- And, of course, Boat/Canoe
Mosey back for COT
- Cougar insisted there were too many loops out there this morning. But if Six Mike can drink at a work dinner until midnight, post only after a Soft Commit, and not spill any Merlot, I say we didn’t have enough. Strong effort out there Six.
- While Six appears to be taking full advantage of his 1 cheat a week during his cleanse, I don’t think Pomfret is. I chose wisely with my partner for the carries (#leanandmean). I also appreciate Pomfret not dropping me like he did McGee on Monday.
Great work from the pax this morning. We covered a lot of ground. It is always an honor to lead this crew.
