The Naked Man Moleskine…

_ The goal of the day was to take the wayback machine to days of yore when Wednesday Gloom was dedicated to the StrengthPack and then to properly perform said StrengthPack to the point of failure. I don’t have any idea what the total count of each -arama ended up being. Perhaps some of those in attendance can render a verdict on the sucesss of our mission.

_ WarDaddy…it needs to be noted for the annals of the internets that Achtung is a Bad Ass. Not a crazy eyed wierd screaming Van Damme in Bloodsport kind of bad ass but the real deal, you know, more like…say…the “ain’t got time to bleed” Jesse Ventura Predator Bad Ass that just does his thing and moves on. It has been with personal pleasure that I have tried pushing this guy hard twice in the past 5 days, only to have him push back and take it over the top. Tclaps.

_ Blue…O2 debt example number one. Twice I wanted to give the Pax a 10 count to catch our breath only to push through because I couldn’t remember Boone’s name while looking straight at him in the ring. For some reason I kept thinking, Blue, yet knew it was wrong for reasons only a head shrink could make up.

_ Vested…although DW picked a baaad day to show-up fully vested, he did not whisper a sound of weakness. The same can not be said for most of lot, as there were times that the park could have been mistaken for a birth ward at CMC.

_ COT…A big shout out went to Grasshopper aka Dragonfly and his family for a swift and complete recovery.

_ 6ers…for those southsiders interested in stretching your legs in the AM, Joker is leading a run down the greenway.

_ Thank you…to the Bandit crew for allowing me to redeem my Monday fartsack. Hopefully, Holtz will be back in the mix soon.

Again. Faster.

  1. Little John

Transitioning back from vacation is never easy. Somehow I missed the tweet that TD was leading Bandit and Swamp Fox was leading Ranger. Had I seen that, may have switched venues. However after reading the Ranger back blast, sounds like whatever the venue, pain was on the menu and being dished out, in man-sized double helpings.

F3 Southern Maine consisted of a handful of 5 miles trail runs and too many Lobster Roll curls. Mind you, these were done in a low humidity – daytime highs in the low 70′s early 80′s, nighttime temps in the cool low 50′s. Needless to say, this morning was a total shock to the system.

Some of that vacation Merlot was close to seeing the light of day when TD introduced the slow-mo burpee-fest. Although there were a lot grunts and groans early on (or as the LK describes – birth-ward type sounds) by the Train Redux, not a lot of chatter out there. Although to be fair – it’s difficult to talk when you are passed out.

For the record, Phoenix posted – didn’t see him listed on the roster above. Perhaps because he kindly took time to teach the last pack of tomatoes entering the park the proper plank form …

Way to bring it old school.
