People Can Tell When You Autobell

  • When: 07/17/12
  • QIC: Dino
  • The PAX: LONGHORN!!!!, Level 10, Gris (LIFO, pulled a hammy), Baby Jesus, X, Holtz, My Little Friend, Chappy, MMOB, Dark Warrior, The Knack, Bird HOle, Black Bird, Cindy, Ricky Bobby

16 Pax came to salute Longhorn for his first F3 workout in months.

The Thang:

Christ Church-up Providence-down Moorehead to playground. Squats, Merkins, Step Ups, Declines. Run down Queens, left on Providence to Autobell. Parking lot sprints, lunge walks, diamonds, and burpees oh my! Run to greenway. Backward run then turn and sprint to fountain. Decline merkins and time was dwindling down so we got a move on it back to Moorehead to Providence to home base. Distance=just under 5 miles.

The Naked Moleskin:

-I can’t say enough about how F3 can create great friendships and support from men you may not have even known a year ago. Longhorn has been battling his shoulder injury like a man and came out and put on a brave performance during the Ring Run. I know there was a lot of pain, but he pushed through it. Great to have you back Horn!

-It was another one of those humid mornings where the sweat starts to flow only after 10 seconds into the run. We had a great group today with a bunch of fellowship mixed with pain.

-Dark Warrior had the weight vest on felt compelled to vote at Christ Church after the Ring Run and prior to a shower. Holtz and I were hoping the polling people wouldn’t evacuate the building thinking his weight vest was some sort of explosive device. To my knowledge, no police were called.

-If you haven’t been to the Ring Run, give it a try. We try to change the course up every week and it is a great alternative to the bootcamp style workouts. As an added bonus, you also have the chance to meet some different Pax.

-The GOAT was awesome, looking forward to seeing some more pics/videos.

Have a great day!

  1. How about Longhorn sprinting to the finish today? Sub-7min pace for the last 0.4 miles of a 4+ mile run. You the man and strong re-entry!
