CPR … then A Bar, 7/19/12
T-claps to Raider (Aaron Christensen) and Mickey Thomas (Andy Ball) for pulling togetherthe following program for July 19, which will combine the favorite F3 pastimes of doing good and fellowship. They’re calling it “CPR … then a Bar.”
Event: Red Cross “Citizens’ CPR,” consisting of 45 minutes to 1 hour of critical basic CPR training
Cost: $15 per person (which is the actual Red Cross charge for each participant, everyone needs to pay at the door so we can cover the Red Cross invoice).
Date: Thursday, 7/19
Time: 7:00 to 8:00 pm, followed by a visit to a local watering hole that will go until … whenever.
Location: Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1000 East Morehead Street, Charlotte
Closed invitation: No wives for this one, as that could interfere with the “then a Bar” component of the program.
Sign up: In the Comments below or via email to Raider (christensen@smithchrist.com) or Mickey Thomas (mdi@shelby.net) Deadline for registering is Monday, July 16th.
A number of folks have expressed concern about what would happen if someone needed emergency life-saving during one of our workouts, so thanks to Raider and MT for picking this up and running with it. Participation in F3 workouts is completely voluntary and free of cost cost due to our volunteer-led model, so we rely on the pax to self -regulate in terms of their ability to keep up and participate.
That being said, we encourage anyone, particularly workout leaders, to avail themselves of this training opportunity, as you never know when it will come in handy.
