Davidson Cross Country Camp, Football Team and Old Men at DC track!

It was a humid start to the day for 14 of the faithful.  We were blessed with the presence of the Davidson football players  staying around to train this summer as well as a cross country camp that had the kids out early for some stadium runs…  Our venue got crowded so we modified a bit with less running and more exercises in cadence. 

The Workout:

Warmup:  Run lap, SSH X25, Line jumps Varied (2 minutes), Mtn climbers X20, Stretch arms/legs, Split jumps X12, Alt Lunge X12, Insanity jumps X12, Burpees X10, Run another lap with variations including high knees, bks, slides, backpedal, karaoke, high skips

Stadium First row: 10/20/30s – 3 sets of 10 pullups, 20 dips and 30 squats

Pushorama: Merkins X12, Wide X1o, Narrow X1o, Handslap with Partner X10, Decline X10

On Track : Run 100 yards – 20 Alt lunge, 100 yards- 20 split jumps, 100 yards – 20 insanity jumps, 100 yards – 10 burpees

Mary: LBCs, Flutter, Mason Twist,  Bicycles, Frogs

Stadium First Row: 10 incline pushups, 20 squat box jumps, 30 alternating step ups – plus 20 more box jumps

Plank-o outside stadium: Variations plus Maktars and Plank jacks to finish.
