THE NAKED MOLESKIN:

-Decision was made to leave the campus and venture into uncharted territory. It confused many at first , but then seemed to be appreciated by the end.

-T-claps to DW for carrying the ruck sack on today’s workout. My legs are sore just thinking about that.

-T-claps to Holtz for stepping up at the end of an already difficult Jacobs Ladder. A few of us finished and instead of planking, Holtz requested an 8th ladder. Thanks for pushing me to my limits.

-On the way up Barclay Downs Rd I heard some Cindy-like breathing. Come to find out it was Wake Up Call hot on my tail. Strong.

-You know it is summer time when people start breaking out the short sleeved shirts, but today was the first appearance of sunglasses worn during the workout. Good job Swamp People for protecting your rods and cones.

-Haywood came up with the idea for the title of this blast because he thought the Show and I had some good coordination of our tag-team style workout today. Thank you and I hope we got 10 out of 10 from all of the judges.

-I tried to copy H.E.’s grandma’s situps. It became clear during the first round that I clearly had my times off. I don’t know if that made it hurt more or less, because I could barely breathe. Holtz corrected my mistake for the second round. Thanks for setting me straight.

-Be on alert for an upcoming coffeteria with Longhorn. During our visit to his house this past week, we noted that our fallen brother could use some fellowship and encouragement during his road to recovery.

-If you are still interested in signing up for Go Ruck, contact TD or DW by Monday.

Character and personal force are the only investments that are worth anything.

Now go out and be a positive influence on others,

Dino

  1. Dancing with the Stars works, but I thought it was more like Stockton & Malone. Several no-look passes, just handing off the duties effortlessly with your Pax crumple in pain.

Mark your calendars. On Saturday, July 21st after the workouts we’re going to have Longhorn Coffeeteria at the Caribou on Fairview between Carmel and Colony (near the Ben & Jerry’s). Spread the word to other workouts; let’s make it a Coffeeteria Convergence. Maybe by then Longhorn will be able to shake your hand – but don’t assume he can and take it easy on him! It’s his right shoulder…
