F3/Gears – BackBlast 04.26.12 – No surprise here

Gears utilized the VSF of F3/Uhhh…A$$, and the Faithful gathered for a casual ride down Providence.  The Pax:

Pomfret

PBo

Mr Pink

Ben Franklin

The Show

Assless Chaps

Doc

The Thang and Moleskin Combined:

Per Pomfret:

We went down Providence road, right in Rea, Right on Colony, Right on Selwyn ~19 miles at 18.5.  I was dragging, so the lead pack was faster.

Per PBo:

First off, that was no leisurely pace today. 18.5 mph is deceptive. We were going much harder than that. I guess our various stops/catch-ups slowed our overall pace.

We sort of had a paceline going at some parts, but mostly it was just go as hard as you can (in my case) and then regroup at various points. Not for the faint of heart, literally.

This will be a great training group. As with everything F3-related, there are some strong guys out there.

No surprise here that some F3er was going to push it.  As PBo states, this will get you ready for Latta.  Time to get the bikes out and pump up the tires.

TClaps to AC who posted after watching his idol, the original Assless Chaps (David Lee Roth) the night before.  Moniteur who soft committed was nowhere to be seen (fartsacking, brothers, fartsacking).

Ride on Sunday?

I had a little over 19 miles (but that included the ride from my house) at approx. 18.9 mph. Good ride fellas. I’m in for Sunday – time/place?
