F3/F3 Foundation – Service Projects

Since the official launch of F3F last month, we’ve seen a lot of energy and excitement from the Pax. Everyone seems to understand that we have a greater purpose in life and together the men of F3 have the collective ability to not only help our fellow man but also create tremendous positive change in our community. We’ve received many questions and ideas over the past several weeks and F3F is currently evaluating several potential service projects. As we move forward, the F3F Board desires to adhere to a set of guidelines in order to determine if a service project qualifies for F3F support. This post should hopefully answer your questions.

In order for a service project to qualify for F3F support, it must meet all of the following guidelines.

1.       The project must promote the F3F mission – to develop and strengthen Male Leadership in this community.
2.       At least two F3 members must be actively involved with the organization or project.
3.       Two F3 members are required to accept responsibility as co-QICs for the proposed project.
4.       The project must have a local presence.

Q: What is F3F going to do for me once a project qualifies?

A: F3F will incubate, support, and organize the men of F3 to rally around your project. We’re going to match like minded F3ers with a passion for your idea to jump on board your bandwagon.  F3F will provide a platform to raise awareness and offer a deep pool of talent to assist your efforts. You will have F3 Men of Action at your disposal to guarantee your success.

Q: Why do at least two F3 members have to be actively involved?

You’re going to have a higher performance rate if more people are engaged and personally committed. The more people involved, the easier it is to achieve critical mass. It also speaks to the quality of the organization or project.

Q:  Why does F3F require a co-QIC?

Seeing a successful project through completion is hard work and it takes time. You’re going to need help, even if you don’t think so. Trust us on this one.

Q: What if I can’t find another F3 member to take the responsibility as a co-QIC?

A: Simple enough, your project does not qualify. If you have a great idea with the ability to impact people’s lives, someone is going to take on the challenge with you. We are all Men of Action. That’s what we do.

Q: Who do I talk to if I have questions regarding F3F and how do I submit a project for F3F consideration?

A: Email Haywood at bpierce@thekeithcorp.com or seek out one of the following board members after a workout: Haywood, Waco, Robocop, or Tango Delta.

Let’s go to work.

Haywood
