At 17 degrees, it wasn’t easy to get out of the fartsack to hit a workout at 0530. T-claps to those who posted and pushed this morning, including the LIFOs Longhorn and Double Knot. Double Knot is so good at the LIFO, the QIC didn’t even notice he was there until well into the lurker – a name change might be in order. Also, another t-clap goes out to Belk, FNG to the Bandit and only the 2nd F3 workout after posting to Cherokee on 1/1 – keep it up brother.
This weather also brings out a variety of wardrobes. In addition to OBT’s color coded fleece and minimalist shoes, Holtz wore ski socks over his leggings, Peggy sported Gris’s latest workout cardigan, Red Warrior went without a hat, Belk with shorts, and Dark Warrior was, well, in all black. QIC and Exeter are both exhibiting the “I left my razor in the mountains” look.
The plan for “Strings of Lurker” included a 3rd trip up the hill – fortunately for the QIC, who was wondering if spilled merlot would freeze immediately upon contact with the ground, time ran out.
After a brief holiday hiatus, the video on the Bandit page has been updated. As promised a couple of weeks ago, we’re sticking with the Dave Grohl theme – this time with Elephant from his Them Crooked Vultures venture. Grohl is awesome as a guitarist/front guy, but he might be even better on the drums. With Foo Fighters/Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, and Led Zeppelin represented in this band, the last thing that I expected to hear was something with the sound of Cream. Love it. We need Sweeper to weigh in on this one though.
Have a good day, men.

Also 3x claps to Peggy for notching a six pack – posting his sixth day in a row. Gauntlet, Mustang, AG Anniversary, BHM, SIB and the Bandit. That’s commitment. Even better, he pulled it off without a chia splash event.
-
I’ve heard multiple 6 pack “rules” out there in the Gloom. I am assuming it will need to be on the same calendar week, so I’m planning to post for this weeks Gauntlet and Mustang. Either way, it will be my first 6 pack.
-
I believe one of the cardinal rules is for it to be an official Six Pack, you must post for HDHH at Ed’s on Wednesday evening. Consider yourself warned.
-
and yes, only post work out chia splashing today
-
Very strong, Peggy. Make it to HDHH tonight, and it should count. Oh wait, you think that the Tiger Slam doesn’t really count? Well, nevermind, you’ll have to post the rest of the week.

t-claps to QIC Moniteur for great leadership out there today. Whatever the opposite of t-claps is, I should get that for forgetting to take my blackberry out of my pocket before beginning Bandit. Luckily, after backtracking from the train to the soccer field, I found a block of ice with a semi-functional blackberry inside… I think I know what might have taken Iron Mike down… and it wasn’t Buster Douglas
-
Don’t know how you found a blackberry in the gloom. Good thing is that it probably didn’t work any better before it sat in the ice.
