F3Run/RitchieRun–BackBlast.11/13/11–Takin' It Easy
Aye, the virtual ShovelFlag was planted in the Gloom and two men posted for the weekly RitchieRun (easy like Sunday mornin’):
12 miles through South End, out Tuckasegee and back in via the Sever Creek Greenway. We did it in a leisurely 1:46:16, an 8:53 pace. Here’s the Garmin Connect link.
Spreadsheets From The Gloom:
_ This was OBT’s first long run after running the Manchester (NH) City Marathon one week earlier. PMo was prepping for a Thanksgiving Day half-marathon in the ATL.
_ A brilliant sunrise as we came over the State Street hill, but a little sadness as the fact that — at least temporarily — this is not current MMOB’s city. But it will be again soon, brothers, we promise that.
_ PMo’s Movember Moustache is coming in nicely. He’s promising to send the Faithful details of how we can make a donation to support men’s health causes in honor of the strong work being put in by his upper lip (not to mention his monthlong sacrifice of a heterosexual image).
_ We’re dropping the GONADS branding for running workouts, to try to avoid conclusion. All running workouts will be branded F3Run. Going forward, GONADS will be used only to refer to the activities of the loosely affiliated F3 race team known as the Gathering Of North American Distance Sprinters (GONADS).
